Founded by Nigel Edwards, an American designer and author whose journey spans continents, BKLYN1974WEAR is stitched with stories — from the streets of New York to the alleyways of Rome. After seven years in Switzerland, Nigel moved to Florence to study Graphic Design at FIDI, before settling in Rome — where his experiences across cultures, art, and architecture now flow into wearable canvases. The brand name honors his roots: Brooklyn, NY, and the year 1974 — a nod to generational authenticity.
